Apron – Hand Dyed

Hand-dyed in Easton by Sara Hunsucker Studio in natural indigo using shibori techniques, this apron is one-of-a-kind. Made of 100% cotton in a sturdy thick canvas weave, featuring an adjustable neck strap, 2 side pockets, and 2 upper pockets (one is for a small writing implement or tool).

The dye process begins with a pre-reduced natural indigo fermentation bath. The folded and bound apron is dipped several times to achieve its blue tone. The indigo dye starts out green and turns blue as it oxidizes.

Unisex style fits all body types and is ideal for the garden, studio, or kitchen.

Measures roughly 9.5 inches wide at the chest, 26.5 inches of vertical coverage, and it is 30.5 inches wide. It weighs 6.7 oz.
