Bring your bestie for lite bites, sweet treats, and an inspiring conversation with two Easton flower farmers. Sunday, February 8, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
When we wrote the business plan for Greiser’s, we described our imaginary customer as “the Gentlewoman Farmer … who chose rural Easton — and her property with room to plant a garden, host bonfires, and raise chickens — as her family’s perfect hometown.”
In 7+ years in business, we’ve been fortunate to greet and serve SO many women who fit that description!
We’ve also been lucky to do business with a few who have gone beyond our imagination to turn farming their own property into a professional passion. For Galentine’s Day this year, we’ve invited two women who’ve brought beauty to town by starting their own flower farms right here in Easton.

On Sunday, February 8, join us with Denise Wilhelm (above left) of Roots & Thread boutique flower farm and design studio and Rachael Kemery of Rising Iris Farm (above right) to talk about their businesses centered on natural beauty and self care. They’ll tell us how they transformed their own back yards into farms and what they’ve learned from their successes as well as a few flower failures.
Denise has continuously honed her practice and increased her crop yields to be able to supply Greiser’s and other local businesses with gorgeous weekly deliveries of bouquets bursting with color more than 6 months a year.
And Rachael has expanded from growing event flowers, hosting workshops, and offering a CSA to introducing a line of luxurious all-natural “neurocosmetic” skincare products that she produces from blends of oils from home-grown plants such as calendula, chamomile, indigo, yarrow, and even Bakuchiol — known as nature’s retinol.
Register here now to join us with Rachael and Denise for food, bubbles, and conversation on the Sunday before Valentine’s Day. $15 ticket includes lite fare.
